day 4, in Macau. after a night stay in the hotel,
we didn't have to wake up so early.
check out at 0945 hours.
before the coach bus came to fetch us at 0955 hours.
today's a city tour in Macau.
first stop: the Kun Lam statue,
(a statue that's supposed to look like guan yin).
2. St. Paul Church Ruins
(however due to construction works, we are unable to go)
3. A Ma Temple
4. lunch buffet at babylon casino (miami food court)
5. the Penha Hill, a Rome-like Macau building
6. Macau tower (61 floors high)
7. the well known building (but i forgot the name of it. oops)
anyway, as the tour guide Mr Roger says,
originally, the portuguese architect,
he designed the Kun Lam statue with a round bottom.
so the Macau people say, without the statue landing on a lotus,
how can it be called the 观音菩萨?
hence, the Macau architect changed its base to a lotus-like one.
next, sadly, we couldn't get into the St. Paul church ruins,
which was built long time ago, and had a huge fire in 1835.
after then, what's left was the ruins.
a little ahead, was the a ma temple.
i used a coin to wish and i got health luck.
there were words engraved onto the stones.
some are even in red.
we had our lunch at miami food court!
its located inside the babylon casino.
but there's a door that separates the casino from the food court.
hahs. cool right! XD
my poor little brother vomited again.
there's this rome-like macau building. and it's really stunning.
took a photo of the Penha Hill,
and also took loads of photos before going to our next destination,
which is the macau tower.
it was quite boring though. lol.
have to wait for 45mins 'cause it's not provided for us.
and macau's scenery wasn't that fantastic. =x
therefore, my mama did not want to buy tickets to go to 61 floor.
there's 4 activities that are held at the tower.
1. bungee jumping
2. skyjump
3. skywalk
4. mast climb
after that, took the ferry back to HK.
we missed the 1630 hours ferry.
and have to wait until 1700 hours =(
at first, we intended to go to Mong Kok (旺角),
where the ladies market is.
however, because it's getting late,
in the end, we didn't go.
instead, my mama and i,
went to this one street away 的 shopping mall.
damn nice.
saw this chio white coloured grand piano.
but i forgot to bring my camera! argh.
luckily, my mama says,
we are coming here for shopping tomorrow!
ate at 好好面粥店。
the 酸辣汤, chicken wing with vermicelli noodle is shiok.
especially in such cooling weather.
and the 豆浆 was very thick. very nice.
yes! finally, tomorrow don't have to wake up early.
